I write flash fiction, short stories and longer pieces too and I’m represented by Gina Panettieri at Talcott Notch Literary Services.

Most of my flash fiction is for the Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles 75-word challenge, which runs every month, or their 300-word challenge, which runs every three months. Here are a couple of examples.

Occasionally, I win (e.g. “The Dream Factory”).

I’ve written a few short stories, among them “The Blue Hill” in On the Premises magazine, and “Davy”, in Crossed Genres’ Fat Girl in a Strange Land anthology.

I’m doing some research on the highlands of Scotland (which, naturally, has nothing at all to do with time-wasting and not-writing) and spend a lot of time staring blankly at tide tables and (less blankly) at descriptions of how to cook a puffin.
